Great coffee! Tides coffee is set up at KCC farmers market every Saturday. The drink is pretty pricey ($8-10) for 16 ounces but at least it's good! They have a fancy La Marcozza espresso machine, and the espresso definitely tastes super smooth and aromatic. I ordered the ultra violet latte, which has a pretty lilac colored, Okinawan sweet potato flavored milk. Definitely a bit of a splurge, but they carry such unique flavors and the drinks sure are tasty.

A year later since I have tried Tides Coffee, and they are growing. They now roast their own beans and sell bagged coffee beans! I haven't tried mines yet but i'm excited to brew it at home. I've heard from a lot of people how expensive a cup can be. But if you have the chance to chat with the two owners about where the ingredients are from and how almost everything is made from scratch, you would really appreciate the price points. P.S. 1. Menu changes every season. 2. They're usually at Honolulu Farmers Market in Blaisdell on Wednesdays, Kailua Farmers Market on Thursdays, KCC Farmers Market on Saturdays, and Mililani Farmers Market in Mililani HS on Sundays.

OH HOW THE TIDES HAVE TURN On Wednesdays from 4pm - 7pm, they are also located at the Honolulu farmers market at the Blaisdel. Corner of King and Ward. Across Thomas Square Park. I really like the purple ube drink with a shot of espresso. Great for instagram pics and tagging it with #FOMO #IYKYK #NOFILTER I also really like their dog that hangs out with them while they work. Such a cutie

Best lattes on Oahu. Their flavors are delicious. You can find them at multiple farmers markets around the island. Absolutely worth the wait in line if you see them. Always changing their menu of coffees and lattes with different local ingredients. Seriously need to try them if you haven't.

Raise your hand if you're a coffee snob!? If so, this is the place for you! They're located at most farmers markets and don't have a storefront. As a matter of fact their booth has no signage so it's easy to miss them especially if you try to find them at blaisdell market. Kcc should be no problem. Just look for the long line in the back. I particularly wonder if it's longer because it is in the morning hours compared to blaisdell and Kaiser HS is in the evenings. The wait can be a little long and it barely moves at KCC, but trust the wait is worth it! I made some friends while I was In line and it seems like most of us there was trying it out for the first time. The prices are a little high ($8 for the ultraviolet) so it is a nice treat to have every so often. However, I did notice that there was fresh ube in there so it's exactly what you're paying for. It was topped with espresso and edible flowers which made it Instagram worthy. It is given to you unmixed so you can taste the ube before you stir it together. Service is really friendly and apologized for the wait. But once you order it came out quite fast. This is a great place to try! But probably would recommend you to find them at blaisdell farmers market instead so you don't have to wait in line if you don't mind drinking coffee at 4pm! Hahah!

KCC farmers market is filled with amazing food. One of those places is Tides Coffee. The line here gets a bit long but it's certainly worth the wait as their coffee creations are nothing short of great. Their Macōcō is their most popular and also limited in quantity option. I didn't get to try it since they had sold out but, I did get to try their Ultra-Violet which is an Okinawan sweet potato drink with milk and espresso. This drink when mixed together was nice and subtlety sweet, creamy and absolutely delicious. We also got to try their Mocha mission with 70% Cacoa, almond milk, and espresso. This was a more almost earthy drink with the cacoa really being the star of this drink. Both were so good. The Ultra-Violet was even topped with an edible flower which was a nice touch. I can't recommend this coffee shop enough. Unfortunately, they don't have a shop yet and so we can only find them currently at the farmers market. But, if you decide to check out KCC Farmers Market at least on Saturday(that's when I went), you'll be in for a treat with Tides Coffee.
